Stacy Vynne is the program director for TRIG's Climate Leadership Initiative. She works across multiple sectors (including agriculture, tourism, public works, government, natural resources, etc) to help them identify strategies to prepare for climate change impacts. She is also the lead researcher for TRIG’s public health project, delivering resources to support counties across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest prepare for the health-related impacts of climate change.
Stacy holds a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College and received her M.S. in Environmental Studies and certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Oregon, where she conducted research on human-wildlife conflicts. Before coming to the University, Stacy worked as a biodiversity monitoring and evaluation program manager for an international nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C. She currently has a courtesy research appointment at the Institute for a Sustainable Environment at the UO.
